Principal's Message

Chris Walker
MCHS Principal

Thank you for visiting the Muncie Central High School website and for your interest in our students and staff.  Our goal at Muncie Central is to make a positive difference in the lives of each of our students.  We are able to accomplish this by setting high academic expectations; providing resources and support to our students, staff, and families; and promoting student involvement in activities both inside and outside the classroom.

Muncie Central has a very proud tradition of academic and extra-curricular success, and our students and staff are committed to carrying on this great tradition.  Our graduating seniors annually receive millions of dollars in scholarships, and our celebrated Early College program offers students an opportunity to graduate with college credits or even a two-year Associate's degree, which saves families thousands of dollars in college tuition each year.

We strive to develop each student so he or she reaches their full potential. Our dedicated teachers and administrators are here to provide educational guidance and real-life wisdom to help students navigate their way into adulthood. We appreciate your assistance with these goals and look forward to continuing our considerable history of student achievement.
