Greetings,

Thank you for visiting the Muncie Central High School website and your interest in our students and staff.  Our goal at Muncie Central is to make a positive difference in the lives of each of our students.  We are able to accomplish this by setting high academic expectations; providing resources and support to our students, staff, and families; and promoting student involvement in activities both inside and outside the classroom.

Muncie Central has a very proud tradition of academic and extra-curricular success, and our students and staff are committed to carrying on this great tradition.  The Class of 2020 surpassed $6.2 million in scholarships this past spring.  Through our partnership with the University of Notre Dame and the AP-TIP IN (Advanced Placement - Teacher Investment Program of Indiana) and the Ball Brothers Foundation, students scoring a 3 or higher on an AP exam receive a $100 incentive for each exam they pass.  Since December of 2018, MCHS students have been awarded over $31,000 in AP Incentives.  MCHS is a fully endorsement Early College Program from the Center for Excellence in Leadership of Learning (CELL).  These accomplishments were in large part due to the efforts of our amazing teachers, staff, families, and most importantly our students.

If at any time you need to contact the school, please do so by emailing us at Central-info@muncieschools.org or calling the main office at 765-747-5260.  Thanks again for your interest in Muncie Central High School.
